It adopts an Optical Screen Security System (OSSS) which is more secure since any wireless communication is always hackable and therefore compromises security. Communication is purely between the iPhone and the Lock. No servers, No cumbersome setup. Simply download the app into your iPhone (iOS 7.0 or later), pair it through the iPhone's screen to create your keys. You can create unlimited guest's key with date and time restriction access. And add unlimited multiple rules to suit your needs. You can also create backup keys in case you loose your phone though 3 spare physical keys are provided with the deadbolt system.
